He's always be your baby...

This "big boy" may have turned 1 and started walking, but I'm pretty sure he'll always be his Momma's "baby" ..he is just TOO sweet! He was only a few weeks old when I first met him and I have enjoyed watching him grow from behind the camera ;-)

and now this little doll is O-N-E! His cake smash was messy....but too cute! And of course, we had to get a few formal shots of him in his Sunday best! Look at those eyes!

This little man is too precious for words. His blue eyes alone are enough to give any woman baby fever! Throw in a smile and your heart will melt...

Don't let their size fool you, these are two busy little girls! They wandered about, smiling at one another, squeeling....oh, to be 1! I was there for Karsyn's 1st year portraits, but of course, cousin Rileigh had to be in a few. :-)

{mason: 9 months}

I met cute little Mason when he was just a few weeks old and here he is, 9 months old! I'm already looking forward to his first birthday photos! He's grown by leaps and bounds, but there are a few things that are still the same....those big blue eyes!

When I got an e-mail about scheduling six month photos for Trey, I was a little surprised....had it been that long already? Seems like I was at the "J" home just yesterday doing his newborn session. Time flies by when you're having fun...or super busy!

This sweet little boy was ready for photos after his extra-long afternoon nap. He loved watching his Mimi J and Momma make funny faces, sing, and play peek-a-boo behind the funny lady with the big black box! :-)

It's so funny how small the world gets when I start conversing with clients at the beginning of their session. Almost always they know someone who knows someone who KNOWS me...or even crazier, we're related and we didn't even know it!

Last night's session (yesterday was a double-feature day for me) proved no different. Only this time the "ah-ha!" moment was when after a few minutes chatting we realized that the Dad (Adam) was at my & Chris's wedding back in 2000! He came with a guy friend, who was dating one of my bridesmaids. Even more bizarre is that I've know Adam for a few years through my job and we NEVER put two-and-two together....The whole thing made me laugh!

This morning, BEFORE the sun started BLARING down upon us, I met up with the sweetest couple with the cutest little BABY BOY...his name is BRODY :-)

From infant to now a 1 yr old, one thing has never changed about this little baby girl...she looks JUST LIKE HER DADDY! :) She was all smiles Wednesday night and you know what happy babies make? Beautiful photos!
