I think as mothers we're so busy keeping kids from fighting, doing housework, and taking care of our families, that we often forget how precious our children are...how every day will be a memory soon. Here's a few shots of some kids that are dear to my heart.

{where I've been and what I've been up to...}

While I haven't been posting, I have been busy! In the past two weeks we've had several birthday parties, school clothes shopping, and the meet & greet at Darci's school. YES, school. Today was her first day, and it went great. We couldn't be more proud....or sad! :-)

REMINDER! If you want a holiday mini-session PLEASE e-mail me or call me asap -- my November calendar is filling up fast!! A mini-session is 30 minutes, you get 8-10 proofs, a free 5x7, and tons of holiday card templates to pick from...I only have a few dates left open -- so planning early is a must :-)

{Callie's senior prom..) SCROLL DOWN FOR THE CONTEST!

This senior prom is significant for more than just her Mom & Dad. I can remember her mother being pregnant (the first great-grandchild for my Granny!) and how excited our entire family was. Wow, I beginning to think I'm not young anymore!

Callie looked beautiful and with her feminine and flowing blue gown she looked just like a Barbie doll.....enjoy these sneak peeks.

Looking ahead into 2009.

Here we are only a week out from Christmas and I'm only two sessions away from being booked in March...no time to waste! I will be offering four spring mini-sessions, but they will be for Easter pictures ONLY and cannot be used for family, beach or senior sessions. These are ideal for Mom's that want a few portraits of their children in their Easter 'Duds.

The dates I have open for those are:

April 1st - April 11th, no exceptions! Book now!

All dates still not reserved by Oct 31st will be considered open :)

Bella Blue has "spring fever"

I will be at the "Keep Charlton Beautiful" community event in Folkston, GA on Saturday, April 5th from 9am-2pm. I will have a display of photographs, session information, and a sign-up sheet for my Spring Fever Mini Session Event. I'll be doing two days of 20-minute mini-sessions for those who sign up. The cost will be $20 and will be shot at a location tba. Dates and times will be limited so come and sign up! I will also be having a drawing for a free 11x14 print if you sign and pay up front for your mini-session! A mini-session would be a great way to show off the kid's new cute spring clothes!
