When I think summer there are many words that come to mind: flip-flops, the pool, lemonaid, ice cream, popcicles, teeny tiny polka-dot bikinis....and THE BEACH!! I'm taking off most of June to re-coop from a very busy April & May, and am also staying at the beach for a week! Darci is beyond excited and keeps asking us "How many more days!?" ...The beach is one of my favorite places in the world...and a great place to take photos!
So...without further mindless babble..

Since I'm the first one to leave a comment it shows how much we would LOVE to win the BEACH shoot! We have already taken Brock to the beach this year and his immediate comment was "I love it Mama...love it." So precious. So many smiles to capture! We also haven't had any family shots since Brock was nine months old! I was trying to wait until I lost some of that baby fat (or should I say PHAT! j/k). I would LOVE to win the Beach Shoot! My boys are growing up SO fast! What a great way to "freeze" time! Their last beach shoot was 7 years ago, and man, have they changed! Since having to cancel our session with you a few months ago.... things here have been looking up! Darren was able to find a new job within weeks of losing his last. Phew!
I check your blog and site everyday and just fall in love with your style over and over again. I adore the fresh approach you take with each family, baby or couple. The whimsy/romance is captured in every frame.
I think it would be so much fun to do what you suggest and see the magic you deliver.... especially at the beach which has always been so special to us as a family!! We're open to ANYTHING!!

My boys love the beach. Since that is a location that keeps them busy...I bet that we could capture some smiles too. What would be special about those smiles would be the memories captured in your photos Dana! Please consider my boys and I for the beach. ok this is for me!! we haven't had a professional family potrait done sense we've had Kennnedy!!! I have recently grown very fond of taking Taryn to the beach for our "girls time". It's so relaxing and peaceful and we love it. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this to be our first session together. We all adore your work and never get tired of the countless compliments on your pics! Although a new pic would cause me to finally take down one of my oldies in my office.... I don't have any more room :-(. Can't wait to see the lucky session preview to come!!

What perfect timing .... I just finished decorating my bedroom with the pics I took at the beach. The only problem with those is that I am not in them ! I would love to have you take our pic again, just the grow ups this time ... Kevin and I have not had our pictures taken together in like 8 years. Well! As you know, my belly is getting bigger from the sweet little baby boy growing inside! So, I won't be able to do the beach body pictures :( But that's okay! I got a fabulous idea! As you also know (because you did the photography), I got married in March and I have no idea what to do with my wedding gown now. So, I thought it would be a fun photo shoot to body surf at the beach....in my wedding gown. In other words, I want to trash my gown...sort of! Bama and I would have so much fun with this! The real reason I want to get a beach session is because I have absolutley NO pics of me and my guys! I am always the one behind the camera. I don't even have any pics of myself & Billy (not even wedding photos-our photographer was sent to prison for child molestation before he ever processed our prints and his bitter wife won't give them to us!)I want to be able to look back at pics of our whole family not just the boys and Billy. We need some great pics in a casual setting instead of sitting back break straight with a cheesy grin in a studio!
