They won't see these until they get back from their honeymoon, but I couldn't resist putting up an early preview. As a photographer, I couldn't ask for a better situation; a beautiful location, a beautiful bride and a groom who couldn't stop smiling at his bride. I'm so excited about showing them their wedding day slideshow in a few short weeks!

A few words to describe my family session today...They're colorful, young, and I always have a good laugh or two with the Mom ~ she's so over-the-top and I mean that in a good way!

When I think family there are a few words that come to mind - love, fun, a sense of loyalty, memories, respect for one another, togetherness. This family is all of that and I look forward to many more opportunities to capture them on camera ~ it's always a pleasure!

With spring comes new babies and what a sweet one this was! He's the son of a chilhood friend and I was thrilled to be able to capture this precious newborn. He was quite well-behaved (what baby isn't?!) and I hope took a good nap for his Mama after I left ;)

I have ventured into a field of photography that is indescribable. The nervousness, the rush, the excitement....and then the aching back, the tiredness, and the relief. Other photographers will know what I mean!

Despite the array of emotions, I enjoyed it immensely, and look forward to my next wedding in a few weeks! I have to say a special THANK YOU to KARI (!!!) She was my second shooter and we hit it off; what shot I missed, she got...and visa versa. I look forward to working with her in the near future.
